HTC Dream (Google Android)

It has been rumored for a while now that HTC and T-Mobile will be coming together for the release of Google's first Android (aka G-Phone). Well, now there are actual "facts" to back this claim. The Dream will supposedly be offered to current T-Mobile subscribers for $150 (Wowzers) with listed features being: slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 3G data, 5″ x 3″ touchscreen and 3.0 megapixel camera. You'll also need a Gmail account to purchase one. Presale slated for September 17th:-X
I cannot wait.

Yep, the newest device of T-Mobile's Sidekick family is very simply titled "Sidekick". It's the successor of the now defunct Sidekick ID. This new model comes complete with the newest features that are currently being sent out to Sidekick LX users via OTA updates and changeable shells. Whoopee.
  • $149.99 with a two-year agreement
  • Video recording
  • Spell check
  • Quick find
  • Improved browser
  • Enhanced IM
  • Bluetooth A2DP
  • 2.0 megapixel camera
  • Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE

Macbook Touch.

The infamous Macbook Touch may prove to be a reality. A purely multi-touch based operating system with the robust capabilities of a regular Macbook. Rumors are saying October, but I wouldn't get my hopes up for anything that soon.

Blackberry Bold/9000 (More Info)

Just a few more tantalizing tidbits about the upcoming Blackberry and its all-new operating system:
  • Richer Rendering
  • Zoom In/Out via Trackball
  • Continuous Spellcheck Option
  • Enhancements to Existing Applications
  • 1GB Onboard Memory
  • VGA Display
  • Music Sync
  • Home Screen Icons Size
That coupled with the sleek form factor, I'd buy. Slated for release: July 2008 with AT&T ($300).

Tony Hawk Sidekick LX.

T-Mobile did it before with their D. Wade and LRG limited-edition versions of the popular Sidekick 3, and now again with a Tony Hawk collaboration and the LX.The bottom cover of the device features a skateboard grip-tape feel, has eight simulated screws and slate-colored front. (Looks pretty mediocre to me).

However in news more exciting than the actual phone itself: Accompanying the release will be video and enhanced Bluetooth capabilities which have been absent on the Sidekick until now. Current Sidekick LX and Slide owners will receive an over-the-air-update with the updated feature at a later date (woo!). Slated for release in mid- to late-July.

New Crackberry...

So I may as well post about one of my many obsessions in the mean time in between time: fancy schmancy mobile devices. This is the Blackberry 9000 (far right), slated to be released later this year with AT&T (they get every damn thing). There are talks of it featuring a touchscreen and being an "Apple Killer".....well, here's hopin'.
